The Westside Junior High track teams competed at the 2A-4 Junior Conference Meet at Mena on Tuesday, April 21.
Brieann Cole led the girls team, taking first place in four events. Teammate Penny Wolf earned first place in two events.
Cole clocked a 29.10 for first place in the 200-meter dash and an 18.81 for first place in the 100-meter hurdles. She won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 55.70, and topped the high jump with a jump of 4’8”.
Wolf won the triple jump with a distance of 28’1.25” and took first in discus with a throw of 75’6”.
The girls 4×200-meter relay team of Leann Jones, Reaghan Nichols, Penny Wolf and Kenslee Bohannon earned first place with a finish of 2:07.
