Public Meeting About Data Center Set

LOCAL GOVERNMENT COVERAGE -DATA CENTER

A public meeting designed to assist the public in obtaining facts about the data center or centers being built in the Clarksville community has been set for Monday, July 13, at the Walton Fine Arts Center at the University of the Ozarks.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m., or immediately following the Clarksville City Council meeting.

Individuals who have been involved with the data center process have been asked to serve on a panel to answer citizens’ questions. Gail Choate, executive director of Arkansas Civic Action Network, will serve as the moderator.

Anyone who has questions they wish to be posed to the panel should send an email to [email protected] by 5 p.m. on Monday, June 29. Handwritten questions may be submitted at the Johnson County Library by the same deadline. The questions will be consolidated, compiled and presented to panel members on June 30 to allow time for responses to be prepared. Only questions submitted by the deadline will be addressed during the meeting.
