The Clarksville High School track teams hosted a Senior High Last Chance Meet on Thursday, April 16.
Athletes from Ozark, Lamar and Westside joined CHS among other teams competing.
The Ozark boys team took first place at the meet.
Leading the Hillbillies were Trae Duggar, who took first place in triple jump with a total distance of 38’4”, and finished third in pole vault with a vault of 11’6”; and Deacon Gage, who placed second in pole vault with a vault of 12’ and second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.31.
Xander Johnson placed second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.37, and Liam Kile finished third in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:59.90 and third in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 11:35.53.
The Hillbilly 4×100-meter relay team of Xander Johnson, Deacon Gage, Blaze Mayer and John Skolarski took first place with a time of 44.47, while the 4×800-meter relay team of Liam Kile, Brock Lord, Keaton Jones and Daniel Willis placed second at 10:02.08.
Other top individual finishers were Guillermo Perez of Clarksville, who won first place in the boys 800-meter run with a time of 2:15.69 and finished first in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:51.26.
Clarksville’s Cole Frizzell took first place in shot put with a throw of 41’9.5” and finished second in discus with a throw of 122’11”.
