Braum’s Breaks Ground In Clarksville
Representatives from Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy joined city officials and community members for a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the site where the company will construct a restaurant at 110 Taylor Road near the I-40 exit 58 exchange in Clarksville. Based in Oklahoma City, Okla., Braum’s was founded in 1968 by William Henry “Bill” Braum and is known for its ice cream, hamburgers and grocery stores. Among those participating in the groundbreaking were (front, from left) Amanda Beuchaw, Braum’s public relations; Drew Braum, president and CEO; Coty Foran, head of construction and site development; and David Rieder, Clarksville mayor. Clarksville City Council members, city employees, Chamber of Commerce representatives and elected officials were also in attendance.
