Clarksville’s Pennington Fifth In State Golf Tournament

Clarksville senior Madison Pennington fired a 78 to finish in fifth place at the Class 4A Girls State Golf Tournament, held at Cherokee Village South Golf Course on Tuesday, Sept. 26. Pennington, who was also the medalist at the 4A-4 District tournament, earned All-State honors for her performance. The CHS girls team finished in sixth place overall at the state tournament.
