INDUSTRY TOURS – Clarksville High School marketing business enterprise classes participated in field trips aroundClarksville on Mach 28-29, 2023. The classes, taught by J.J. Thornton, had just completed a unit on the place “P” of the marketing mix. This instruction included lessons on how products are manufactured and distributed along the supply chain. Students received a first-hand look at this process as they toured Hanesbrands, Pressed Ink and Munro Shoes. They were able to see products from creation to packaging to shipment preparation and had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about all they had experienced on the tours. The tour of Pressed Ink included the opportunity to make t-shirts.
