The Westside High School track teams competed at the 2A-4 Conference Meet, hosted by Acorn at Mena, on Tuesday, April 28.

The Lady Rebels placed third as a team, while the Rebels took fifth place.

Freshman Brieann Cole led the girls team, earning first, second, third and fifth place finishes. She won the high jump with a jump of 4’8” and placed second in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 55.60. Her time of 19.83 in the 100-meter hurdles earned her third place, and she took fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 30.19.

In the boys division, Kamryn Baker placed second in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 12:52.88 and took third in the 1,600-meter run with a finish of 5:52.02.

Other results were as follows.

Girls

100-meter dash: Katie Jones, 12^th place, 16.49.

200-meter dash: Katie Jones, 14^th place, 37.08; Reaghan Nichols, 15^th place, 37.42.

400-meter dash: Reaghan Nichols, seventh place, 1:30.98.

100-meter hurdles: Leann Jones, fourth place, 22.57.

300-meter hurdles: Leann Jones, fourth place, 1:16.59.

4×200-meter relay: second place, 2:13.67.

Long jump: Leann Jones, 12^th place, 11’2”.

Discus: Kenslee Bohannon, fourth place, 53’1”; Katie Jones, sixth place, 51’.

Shot put: Kenslee Bohannon, third place, 21’6”; Katie Jones, ninth place, 19’.

Boys

100-meter dash: Johnathan Rye, 10^th place, 12.99; Logan Ross, 12^th place, 13.16; Aidenai Keys, 14^th place, 14.22; Jason Payne, 16^th place, 14.73.

200-meter dash: Johnathan Rye, ninth place, 27.03; Logan Ross, 14^th place, 28.25; Thomas Bohm-Smith, 15^th place, 29.29; Aidenai Keys, 16^th place, 29.36.

400-meter dash: Jason Payne, 11^th place, 1:16.68.

110-meter hurdles: Thomas Bohm-Smith, sixth place, 22.14.

300-meter hurdles: Thomas Bohm-Smith, seventh place, 55.96.

4×100-meter relay: fifth place, 55.30.

4×200-meter relay: fifth place, 1:53.58.

Long jump: Johnathan Rye, 13^th place, 15’0.5”.

Triple jump: Thomas Bohm-Smith, 10^th place, 28’5.5”; Jason Payne, 11^th place, 27’1”.

Discus: Mark Chesley, third place, 88’9”; Jason Payne, seventh place, 74’7”; Kamryn Baker, 13^th place, 51’.

Shot put: Mark Chesley, 12^th place, 26’3”; Aidenai Keys, 14^th place, 21’11.5”.
