Clarksville Girls Golf Wins District; Panther Boys Place Sixth

The Clarksville Lady Panther golf team came home champions from the 4-4A District Tournament held at Morrilton Country Club on Thursday, Sept. 25.
The Lady Panthers were led by sophomore Savannah Gereaux, who finished runner-up with a score of 89 to lead the team to a 31-stroke victory.
Senior Baylor Pasley finished in the top 10 with a score of 107 for a ninth place finish. Morgan Shook finished with a score of 118, and Khloe Muldoon shot a 140.
Clarksville finished with a team score of 314, ahead of Morrilton who finished runner-up with a team score of 345. Ozark finished in third place with a team score of 357 and Dardanelle followed with a team score of 364.
The girls were set to compete at the 4A State Tournament on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Highlands Golf Course in Bella Vista.
