Clarksville Softball Qualifies For Regionals

The Clarksville Lady Panther softball team defeated Waldron in the 4A-4 District Tournament at Ozark on Thursday, qualifying to advance to the regional tournament this week. CHS fell to Pottsville in the district semifinals on Saturday.

Clarksville will face Gentry at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, in the 4A-1 Regional Tournament at Gravette.

HIT LEADER—Clarksville junior Addison Phillips led the Lady Panthers in hits in the opening round of the district tournament on Thursday, May 1. Phillips had three hits, including a double, in five at-bats in Clarksville’s win over Waldron.
