by Bronson Ruston

The Ozark seventh grade Hillbillies capped off another undefeated conference season with a commanding 32-0 victory over Lamar, securing their fifth consecutive league championship and extending their unbeaten streak to 49 games.

Kadden Richardson set the tone early with a 59-yard touchdown run, followed by a 58-yard fumble return touchdown on defense. Chayston Bowman added both conversions, giving Ozark a 16-0 halftime lead.

The Hillbillies’ defense continued to shine in the second half. Stetson Carpenter recovered a Lamar fumble, setting up Richardson’s 33-yard touchdown run. Jase Morris connected with Divan Houston for the conversion, stretching the lead to 24-0.

Garreth Branch added another fumble recovery, and Bowman powered in from two yards. Morris then found Weslie Luttrell for the conversion, sealing the 32-0 shutout.

With the win, Ozark improves to 9-0-1 overall and 7-0 in conference play, while extending its conference winning streak to 34 games.
