CHS Theater Troupe Earns Numerous Awards

Panther Theatre Troupe 6789 from Clarksville High School attended the Arkansas State Thespian Festival at Har-Ber High School in Springdale Feb. 12-14, bringing home numerous awards.
Jenava Harris, CHS theater instructor, received the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Arkansas Outstanding Theatre Educator Award for 2025-26.
In the tech challenge competition, Team Loud!, consisting of Carleigh Morgan, Maximo Roman, Analeise Fultz and Jaret Sandoval, won its second state championship in drop fold.
Thespy Award recipients who received superior ratings and were named international qualifiers included Analeise Fultz and Carleigh Morgan, duet musical; and Danielle Dickerson, costume design.
The cast performing “Money” from the musical “Cabaret” also received a superior rating in the ensemble musical theatre performance category and was an international qualifier.
Receiving excellent ratings were Braxtyn Martin and Lendee Morgan, duet musical; Carson East, monologue; Hailey Westmoreland, solo musical; Sansa Meadows, solo musical; and Ava Dickerson, playwriting. Izzy Addison received a good rating in the solo musical category.
In the team improv competition, Maximo Roman took first place.
Leadership award recipients were Carleigh Morgan, Educational Theater Association scholarship recipient and Troupe 6789 Honor Thespian; and Sansa Meadows, state thespian officer finalist.
Troupe 6789 received Gold Honor Troupe status for service and advocacy.
In the Mainstage Showcase, the cast and crew of “Suite Surrender” from CHS travelled and remounted the fall production as an invited, showcased, full-length play.
