The Clarksville Junior High Panthers ended the 2025-26 season with a 32-29 loss to Pottsville in the 4-4A Jr High District Tournament at Ozark on Monday, Feb. 9.
The Panthers, who were the fourth seed in the tournament, split with the Apaches, the fifth seed, during regular conference play, each winning on their home court.
At the tournament Monday, Clarksville held a 10-9 lead at the end of the first quarter. Pottsville added 10 points to the board in the second period, while the Panthers scored eight for a 19-18 Apache lead at the half. In the third quarter, Pottsville poured in 11 points and held CJH to just two points. The Panthers rallied in the fourth quarter, limiting the Apaches to only two points while scoring nine of their own, but still fell short in the three-point decision.
Kendrell May led the scoring for Clarksville with nine points. Ryan Banning and Favi Delarosa each finished with six points.
Aiden Harkreader recorded five points, and Asher Reynolds contributed three.
The Junior High Panthers finished the season with an overall record of 13-10.
