Clarksville Hosts 7th Grade Relays: LeFlore Wins High Point Award

Clarksville hosted track and field athletes from 11 schools at the Seventh Grade Panther Relays on Wednesday, April 9, at Metheny Field.

Landry LeFlore of the Clarksville girls team won the High Point Award in the girls division. She placed first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:09.62, first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:53.81, and first in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 6:14.27. She also placed fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 31.41, recorded a jump of 4’ to place sixth in high jump and placed 10th in long jump with a distance of 12’9”.

The Clarksville boys 4×400-meter relay team of Fabian Zuniga, Ivan Ramirez, Arturo Perez Garcia and Kendrell May clocked a 4:38.47 for first place.

Luke Moore of the Lamar boys team placed first in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:42.07 and first in the high jump with a jump of 4’10”.

Results of all events can be found in the April 16 edition of The Graphic, found online and in businesses throughout Johnson and Franklin counties.
