Chuck Davis Hired As Boys Basketball Coach For CHS

The Clarksville School Board voted to hire Charles (Chuck) Davis as the new boys basketball coach for the high school Panthers at its monthly meeting Monday, April 22.

Davis has most recently served as head boys basketball coach at Shiloh Christian in Springdale but previously coached at Ozark and Elkins.

He will replace Tony Davis, whose coaching contract the district declined to renew following the 2023-24 season. Tony Davis served as head boys coach since 2009.

Dillon Bean serves as Clarksville’s junior high boys coach, and Kendrick Lee is the seventh grade boys coach. Both of their contracts were renewed by the Board on Monday night.

In addition to the boys basketball position, the Board approved the employment of Aaron Plugge as junior high head football coach. Plugge, who has served as an assistant coach, will take the helm of the Junior Panthers from Mitchell Powers, who was hired as head high school football coach in February. Plugge will also continue to serve as assistant soccer coach.
