Battles Wins Ozark School Board Seat

Anthony Ryan Battles defeated Robert Gresham in the Ozark School Board Zone 4 race in Tuesday’s school election, held in conjunction with the preferential primary.

Battles received 161 votes, while Gresham received 113, according to final but unofficial results from Franklin County Clerk Tammy Sisson’s office.

Battles will succeed Lisa Durning on the Board. Durning was appointed to fulfill the term of her late husband, Todd, who died in September.
