Early Voting Underway; Ballot Info Available Online

Early voting for the March 3 preferential primary and nonpartisan judicial election is underway through Monday, March 2, in both Johnson and Franklin counties.

Early voting hours will be 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. weekdays through Friday, Feb. 27; 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, and Saturday, Feb. 28; and 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday, March 2. On election day (March 3), polls will be open from 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.

Sites for early voting are as follows:

Franklin County: Ozark Training Room, 120 N. 2nd St., Ozark; and Charleston Courthouse, 607 E. Main St., Charleston.

Johnson County: Johnson County Courthouse, 215 W. Main St., Clarksville.

Voters who wish to obtain a sample ballot or find other election information can visit the Arkansas Secretary of State’s website at www.sos.arkansas.gov and click on the “Elections” tab near the top of the page.

Under this tab, information is available regarding voter registration, polling sites, sample ballots and a candidate search. Individuals can enter their voter registration information and will be directed to specific sample ballots, polling locations and other relevant information.

Voters will be asked to select a Democratic, Republican or Nonpartisan ballot.
