The Ozark Lady Hillbillies had a big three-game week last week, including a make-up game with Clarksville that was canceled due to the snow.
Dardanelle
The Lady Hillbillies started the week against Dardanelle on Tuesday, Feb. 3, and carried a four-point lead into half, which they maintained heading into the fourth quarter. But Ozark was outscored 17-6 in the fourth to drop the game to the Lady Sand Lizards 35-28.
Brooklyn Akers led Ozark with 10 points, and Sydnie Herriage added nine points.
Pottsville
Next, the Lady Hillbillies traveled to Pottsville on Thursday, Feb. 5.
After falling to an eight-point deficit in the first quarter, the Lady Hillbillies were able to cut it to three by halftime. Pottsville proved too much, however, and came away with a 42-34 victory.
Makiah Jones led the team with 11 points. Herriage went for eight points with five rebounds, and Lilly Powell added seven points and seven rebounds.
Clarksville
Ozark took on Clarksville on Saturday, Feb. 7, and despite trailing by seven at half, was able to pull out a 53-49 win.
Akers and Herriage both scored 14 points, and Jones added nine for the Lady Hillbillies in the win.
The Lady Hillbillies are now 10-16 on the season and 3-5 in conference play with two regular season games remaining.
