Local Groundhog Predicts Six More Weeks Of Winter
On Groundhog Day, Monday, Feb. 2, Hagarville Hank Jr. of Bacchus Family Adventure Farm near Lamar saw his shadow and then enjoyed a breakfast of sweet potatoes, officially predicting six more weeks of winter. Punxsutawney Phil of Gobbler’s Knob, Pa., also saw his shadow, predicting six more weeks of winter for the nation.
