Linda L. Greathouse

Linda L. Greathouse, 68, of Dardanelle, formerly of Clarksville, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville.

She was a native of Marietta, Ohio, daughter of the late Edgar Lee Spencer and Glendora McPeak, and a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Link (Allen Chesney) of Russellville; one son, Timothy Ray Greathouse of Biloxi, Miss.; seven grandchildren, Josh Greathouse of Clarksville, Matt Greathouse of Biloxi, Miss., Aaron May and Haley Link, both of Russellville, and Stephen, Andy and Justin Tucker, all of Ohio; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Community Funeral Service with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville.

Roy Levear Yates

Roy Levear Yates, age 72, of Russellville died Sunday, September 11, 2011, at North Logan Mercy Hospital.

He was born September 25, 1938, at Hope to the late Arthur David and Bertha Mae Peyton Yates. He loved children and being home with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Melissa Reynolds; four brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Pat Yates of Russellville; one daughter, Paula Latham and husband, Ronald, of Dardanelle; two brothers, Arthur Yates Jr. of Pine Bluff and Billy Yates of Oklahoma; one sister, Jean Henderson of Clarksville; four grandsons, Steven, Justin and Trent Latham, all of Dardanelle, and Austin Reynolds of Brazil; and three great-grandchildren, Molly, Mason and Maylee Latham, all of Dardanelle.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M., Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanlle with Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be in Moore’s Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 1:00 P. M. to 2:00 P. M. in the chapel prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Sandra Eichenberger

Sandra Eichenberger, 69, a former resident of Clarksville, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at the home of a daughter.

She was the widow of Jack Eichenberger and a former resident of Demotte, Ind.

Survivors include her children, Tami (Robby) Gann of Hayden, Ala., John (Tracy) Eichenberger of Plymouth, Minn., Jill (Robert) Hinch of Worden, Ill., and Todd Eichenberger of Chesterton, Ind.; grandchildren, Robby and Charity Gann, Troy, Bree and Sean Eichenberger, Ashley Bologna, Corey and Cameron Eichenberger; stepgrandchildren, Brandy (Guy) Hamilton and Tony Gann; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Seth and Zane; stepgreat-grandchildren, Taylor and Cody Hamilton; and one sister, Karen (Bud) Parr of Evergreen, Colo.

Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at Sheets Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lowell, Ind., with cremation following the services.

Steve Tillman Jr.

Steve Tillman Jr., 78, of London, AR, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family, Saturday, September 10, 2011, at his home in London, AR.  The son of Steve and Edythe Tillman, he was born July 21, 1933, in Piney, AR.  He married Oleta Morse, on May 6, 1956, at Hernando, MS. He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a mechanic with Arkla Gas for 23 years. He was a member of the Knoxville Masonic Lodge, London Eastern Star 349, the Cattleman’s Association, the American Legion and was a Protestant. He enjoyed fishing and cattle farming.

Survivors include his loving wife, Oleta Tillman; three daughters, Terrie Bazyk, Diana Tillman, and Darlene Storment & husband, Stanley; all of Flat Rock Community, AR; six grandchildren, Ashley Cowell of Little Rock, AR, Nathan Cowell and wife, Ronette, of Mill Creek, AR, Joshua Bazyk and wife, Hillary, of Little Rock, Tanner Storment and wife, Amy, of Flat Rock Community, AR, Logan Storment and wife, Crystal, of Mill Creek, and Callie Bazyk of Flat Rock Community, AR; five great-grandchildren, Camden and Emersyn Cowell of Mill Creek, AR, Tillman and Whitman Storment of Flat Rock Community, AR, and Sadie Bazyk of Little Rock, AR.

Funeral will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 15, 2011, at Cabin Creek Baptist Church in Lamar, AR. Pastor Joshua Bazyk and Pastor Jerry Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Military honors will be provided. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 P.M., on Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Nathan Cowell, Joshua Bazyk, Tanner Storment, Logan Storment, Stanley Storment and Gary Storment. Honorary pallbearers included members of the Knoxville Masonic Lodge.
