Danny K. Daniels Jr.


Danny Keith Daniels Jr., 45, of Springdale died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, at his home.

He was a retired truck driver and son of Danny K. Daniels Sr. of Arnold, Mo., and the late Juanita Hendrix Daniels.

Survivors include his widow, Linda Blain Daniels; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Bill and Jennifer Daniels of Clarksville, Danny Daniels III and Rocky Daniels, both of Springdale; one daughter, Amy Daniels of Springdale; one sister, Debbie Hill of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, William Daniels of St. Louis, Mo.; and three grandchildren, Andrew Daniels of Clarksville and Mariah Daniels and Shawn Ballard of Springdale.

A memorial service was held at noon Monday, Dec. 9. Arrangements were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Springdale.

Ester M. Williams


Ester Maud Williams, 82, of Hartman died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Morrilton, daughter of the late Rufus and Stacy Adams Hern, and a member of Hartman Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Williams of Hartman; three sons, Billy Williams of Lamar, Richard Williams of Clarksville, and Carroll Williams of Hunt; four sisters, Paralee Wilson, Ada Ruth Hern, Paulette Hern, and Jane Rodriguez, all of Hartman; three brothers, John Hern of Knoxville and Gene Hern and Floyd Hern, both of Hartman; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at the Hartman Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Howell officiating.

Burial was in the Hartman Cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Bob Parsons, Andy Anderson, Tom Fowler, Bob Rofkahr, Lloyd Bailey, and Elmer Pannell.

Hazel H. Einert


Hazel Hylton Einert, 85, of Roland, Okla., formerly of Ozone, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.

She was a daughter of the late Edd and Frona Norton Hylton, widow of Aden Author Einert, Pentecostal, and was preceded in death by one sister, Effie Hylton Carlisle; and one brother, Willie Hylton.

She is survived by one sister, Pearl Warren of Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Jerry Don Bell


Jerry Don Bell, 64, of Hartman died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.

He was a native of Hartman, son of the late Hoyt and Iva Sullivan Bell, member of Eagles, and was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Bell; and one sister, Flora Hoover.

Survivors include his widow, Rita Mae Bell; one son, Jonha Bell of Hartman; three sisters, Shirley Montgomery of Muncy, Ind., Linda Roell of St. Louis, Mo., and Betty Hill of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two grandchildren, Sarah Mae Bell and Joshua Don Bell, both of Hartman.

Funeral was at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sam Howell and Eugene Scarberry officiating. The body was cremated.

Jack R. Edmunds


Jack Randolph Edmunds, 50, of Altus died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at his home.

He was a civil engineer at Enertech, elder at the First Presbyterian Church in Clarksville, Mason, son of the late James Samuel and Iona Huckaba Edmunds, and was preceded in death by one brother, James Thomas Edmunds.

Survivors include his widow, Patricia Capshew Edmunds; three daughters, Jamie Kristeen Edmunds of Atlanta, Ga., and Lacy Nicole Hughes and Heather Lane Hughes, both of the home; and three sons, Shawn Philip Edmunds, Steven Brent Edmunds, and Scott Samuel Edmunds, all of Atlanta, Ga.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the First Presbyterian Church in Clarksville with Rev. Lance Jones officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Youth Group, 212 College Avenue, Clarksville, AR 72830.

Vernon Ruble


Vernon Ruble, 75, of London died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002, at his home.

He was a native of London, son of the late James and Jessie Leona McAlister Ruble, farmer, Army veteran of the Korean War, member of Martin Chapel Assembly of God Church, and was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy Ruble.

Survivors include his widow, Ollie Ruth Baughman Ruble; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Mary Ruble of London; one daughter and son-in-law, Verna and Alan Crowden of London; four grandsons, Heath Ruble, Matthew Ruble, Joel Crowden, and Ethan Crowden; one great-grandson, Wyatt Vernon Ruble; one brother, William Aubrey Ruble of Perris, Calif.; and one sister, Wanda Lou Cochran of Russellville.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Humphrey Chapel with Rev. Arlin Elmore, Rev. David Owens, and Rev. Claude Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Brock Cemetery at London.

Pallbearers will be Cletus Knight, Virgil Knight, Silas Ray Parker, Stephen Bocksnick, Larry Whorton, Claude Parker, Charles C. Clark, and Paul Ray Parker.

Vera F. Scott


Vera Frances Scott, 92, of Coal Hill died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.

A native of Van Buren County, she was a daughter of the late Acie C. and Drucilla Milsap Lott, member of Morrilton Assembly of God Church, and was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Brenda Briscoe.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Gerald Morris of Coal Hill, Glenna and Charles Briscoe of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Jeraldean and L. G. Lemons of Mesa, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Mike Lemons, David Lemons and Sonja Hickman, all of Mesa, Ariz., Vicky Bonds of Conway, DuJuana Austin of Atkins, Gregory Morris of Fayetteville, and Charlotte Bennett of Red Oak, Texas; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Scotland with Rev. Gerald Morris and Rev. Reba Ramsey officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
