Anna B. Freeman

Anna B. Freeman, 91, of Lamar died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, at Clarksville Convalescent Home.

She was a member of the Hagarville Church of Christ, widow of Earl Freeman, daughter of the late John Taylor and Maggie Mae Warren Barber, and was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ellen Barber and Flora Wilson.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice Blackard of Clarksville and Rhonda Gail Colwell of Hagarville; four sons, James Freeman of Fort Smith, Vaughnon Freeman and Leland Freeman, both of Hagarville, and Bobby Freeman of Jefferson City, Mo.; two brothers, Bill Barber of Owasso, Okla., and J. T. Barber of Hagarville; two sisters, Rosetta Barber and Wanda Jean Crumrine, both of Hagarville; 16 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial was in Annie's Chapel Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Steve Blackard, Neal Freeman, Jeff Freeman, Greg Freeman, Mark Freeman, and John Colwell.

Bobbie Jean Hamill

Bobbie Jean Head Hamill, 61, of Lamar died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.

She was a member of the Lamar Methodist Church, graduate of the University of the Ozarks, retired kindergarten teacher, and daughter of the late Robert A. Head.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Hamill; one son, Joey Hamill and fiance, Annette Killian, of Bentonville; mother, Jessie Head of Lamar; four sisters, Sharon Curtis of Lamar, Margaret (Sissy) Deaver of Fort Smith, Jo Ellen Banhart of Van Buren, and Mary Jesse Dorman of Springdale; two grandchildren, Justin and Shayna Killian, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the Lamar Cemetery with Rev. Joe Dorman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Open visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 26, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Donald Grace

Donald Grace, 46, of Clarksville died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.

He was an area manager for Baldor Electric, a realtor, and son of the late Willis B. Grace.

Survivors include his wife, Brandie B. Moore Grace; three sons, Skylr, Braydon and Bryce Grace, all of Clarksville; mother, Ruthie M. Grace of Lamar; three brothers, Wadey Grace and wife, Tricia, of Clarksville, Gary Grace and wife, Kim, and Kenneth Grace and wife, Diane, all of Lamar; two sisters, Bonnie Bachus and husband, Leon, and Mary Grace, all of Lamar; three sisters-in-law, Ginger Damon and husband, Thomas, of Clarksville, Katie Black of Black Springs, and Danette Grant and husband, Michael, of Atkins; and mother-in-law, Judy Westmoreland of Centerville.

Funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at East Mt. Zion Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Jackson and Rev. Gary Mitchell officiating.

Burial was in Holman Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were Aaron Arnold, Shane Chronister, Kenny Colvin, Wesley Kendrick, Jonathon Davis and Leo Knoernschild.

Emogean Hunt

Emogean Hunt, 76, of Clarksville died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, at Ouachita County Medical Center.

She was a native of Knoxville and daughter of the late Marion and Nora Jane Freeman Chavers.

Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Hunt of Tahlequah, Okla.; one son, Robert Hunt of Sallisaw, Okla.; and several grandchildren.

Rev. Faxon Schreckhise

Rev. Faxon Franklin Schreckhise, 84, of Clarksville died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at Mercy Hospital/Turner Memorial in Ozark.

He was a minister of the Pentecostal faith for 60 years, member of the United Pentecostal Church of Clarksville, son of the late Jesse Roy and Mary Elizabeth Ellis Schreckhise, and was preceded in death by one son, Faxon C. Schreckhise; two brothers, James and Leonard Schreckhise; and one sister, Roberta Gurtner.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Schreckhise; two daughters, Sharon Ann James and husband, Paul Ray, of Clarksville and Elizabeth Churchman and husband, John, of Rogers; four sons, Rev. Roy Robert Schreckhise and wife, Lodi Lillian, of Lamar, Rev. Danny David Schreckhise and wife, Judy, of Hondurus, South America, Rev. James Jacob Schreckhise and wife, Phyllis, of Haynes, Alaska, and Nathan Neal Schreckhise and wife, Linda, of Alma; two brothers, Robert Schreckhise of Arizona and Jack Schreckhise of Van Buren; four sisters, Sadie Benjamin of Abilene, Texas, Elizabeth Conatser of Kansas City, Mo., Lula Bell of Alma and Mikey Reese of Salus; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Vernon Long and Rev. B. J. Thomas officiating.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brent Schreckhise, Jeremy Schreckhise, Robi Schreckhise, Brandon Farris, Blake Schreckhise, and Cammi Schreckhise.

Ollie Passmore

Ollie M. Passmore, 101, of Charleston died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, at Charleston.

A native of Coal Hill, she was a daughter of the late Bill and Mary Hobbs Choate, widow of Chester Passmore, member of Riverdale Free Will Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathrine Taylor, and one son, Gearld Passmore.

Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Brewer and Jonell Rainwater, both of Charleston; one son, Bobby, of Lavaca; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Riverdale Free Will Baptist Church. Burial was at Island Cemetery under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston.

Active pallbearers were Roger and Jerry Rainwater, Mike and Gary Passmore, Bill Thompson and Tim Taylor.

Honorary pallbearers were members of the staff of Greenhurst Nursing Home.
