Sheriff's
Report
Johnson County Sheriff’s Office personnel recently investigated the
following incidents.
Feb. 23
Deputy Glenda Morrison investigated a second degree criminal mischief
report at a Hartman residence in which a wall was knocked down.
Feb. 26
A Private Road 3338 resident reported an incident of computer fraud and
computer trespass when an e-mail account was used to solicit funds.
Auxiliary Deputy Christopher Brownlow served a failure to pay fine
warrant.
Deputy Jonathan Fetters investigated an incident under the Mills-Ahne
Bridge in which shots were fired at a vehicle that was stuck in mud.
Feb. 27
A Highway 352 resident reported his house was entered and a TV, DVD/VCR
combination unit and disk player with speakers were missing.
Feb. 28
Deputy Matthew Ross responded to a structure fire on Private Road 3015.
RFD 8 responded to the blaze and placed the loss at approximately
$34,000.
Ross initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of I-40 and Crawford
Street and arrested the operator for driving on a suspended driver’s
license.
Deputy Jacob Shook arrested a Hartman resident for third degree
domestic battering.
March 1
A County Road 2628 resident reported lawn lights and a vehicle
taillight were damaged.
A County Road 3321 resident reported copper pipe was removed from a
structure.
Ross investigated an incident in which a Clarksville resident’s debit
card was used in Arizona without authorization.
March 3
Deputies Todd Russell and Shook investigated a domestic battering
incident at a Lamar residence. Two subjects were cited for third degree
domestic battering.
Russell served a subject with a second degree battery bench warrant and
Morrison served two subjects with warrants: one for failure to appear
and the other for failure to pay fines.
March 4
Lt. Edward Richardson investigated a second degree terroristic
threatening incident at a Coal Hill business.
Fetters received a report from a Crawford Street resident of an
incident of sexual indecency with a child.
