Alvin C. Keith
Alvin Cecil Keith, 87, of Hartman died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at Ozark
He was a son of the late Ed and Sara Freeman Keith, retired timber
employee, member of the Johnson County Fox Hunters Club where he was
voted the oldest member for three-plus years, was of the Assembly of
God faith, and preceded in death by his wife, Hettie Keith; one
grandson, Chris Keith; and three brothers.
Survivors are two sons, Edward Keith of Clarksville and Allen Keith and
wife, Tressa, of Hartman; one sister, Lillian Sparks of Clarksville;
three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial was in Holman
Active pallbearers were Don Freeman, Hank Sparks, Jeff Keith, Jason
Keith, Kyle Keith, and Mike Keith.
Honorary pallbearers were Stanley Alcorn, David Alcorn, Mike Freeman,

Cheryl A. Holland
Cheryl A. Holland, 56, of Clarksville died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at
Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was a member of the Mt. Vernon Community Church, daughter of the
late Alford Edward and Melvina Persinger Ailstock, and was preceded in
death by two brothers, John Ailstock and Teddie Ailstock.
Survivors include her husband, Clinton Holland; one daughter, Lenora
Holland of Clarksville; three sons, Benjiman Holland and Michael
Holland, both of Clarksville, and Jimmy Holland of Maumelle; one
brother, David Ailstock of Jacksonville, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral was at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev.
Gary Mitchell officiating. Burial was in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Jason Porter, Joseph Reynolds, Cody Graham,
Michael Deen, Josh Conley and Terry Dewinter.
Honorary pallbearers were D. J. Hunt and Gage Anderson.
Conley C. Ritchie
Conley Charles Ritchie, 96, of Clarksville died Saturday, Jan. 28,
2006, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
He was a retired farmer, member of the Church of Christ, son of the
late Hiram and Minnie Acord Ritchie, and preceded in death by his wife,
Jewel Rothmeyer Ritchie; one infant son; one brother, Carl Ritchie; and
one sister, Vestal Downs.
Survivors are two daughters, Freda Immel of Clarksville and Kathy Davis
of Lake Jackson, Texas; three sons, Charles T. Ritchie and Douglas
Ritchie, both of Clarksville, and Harold G. Ritchie of San Antonio,
Texas; three sisters, Lavada Hilton of Ellington, Mo., Vinnie Daniel of
Ora, Mo., and Georgia Mills of Sikeston, Mo.; ten grandchildren; 17
great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home
Chapel with Paul Farrar officiating. Burial was in Hogan Cemetery at

Elmer Eldon Strong, 63, of Clarksville died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at
Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a son of the late Elmer M. and Daisy White Strong and was
preceded in death by one daughter, Terri Strong.
He is survived by two daughters, Tracy Dickerson of Coal Hill and Toni
Foster of Cement, Okla.; one brother, Denton Strong of Oklahoma City,
Okla.; one sister, Janice Picha of California; seven stepchildren; six
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Roller-Cox
Funeral Home Chapel.
The body will be cremated.
Rev. James Breedlove
Rev. James Edward Breedlove, 58, of Columbia, S. C., died Friday, Jan.
A native of Altus, he was a son of the late James Marion Breedlove,
graduate of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla., and Wesleyan
Seminary in Washington, D. C., United Methodist pastor for 26 years and
served in the U. S. Army in the states and overseas.
Survivors are his wife of 36 years Naomi Carney Breedlove; mother and
stepfather, Lois Marie (Morrow) and Charles Magby of Hartman; three
sons, Shawn Breedlove of Columbia, S. C., Jason Breedlove and wife,
Pamela, of Lancaster, S. C., and Jeremy Breedlove of Rock Hill, S. C.;
one daughter, Christy Roberts and husband, Brian, of Rock Hill, S. C.;
three brothers, Tommy Breedlove of Oark, Jerry Breedlove of
Clarksville, and Johnny Breedlove of Coal Hill; and five grandchildren,
Austin Roberts, Taylor Roberts, Brooke Roberts, Andrew Breedlove and

Jewell F. Bean
Jewell Frost Bean, 93, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at
She was a seamstress, member of Lone Pine Presbyterian Church, the only
cook for the Lone Pine School, daughter of the late Benson and Ada
Moore Frost, and was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years
Orland Henderson Bean and one sister, Iladean Lutz.
She is survived by two daughters, Jewell Faye Damon of Clarksville and
Ethel Mae Damon of Knoxville; eight grandchildren; 13
great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home

Rosetta Barber, 89, of Lamar died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at
Clarksville Convalescent Home.
She was a member of the Hagarville Church of Christ, former employee of
Clarksville Foot Wear, daughter of the late John T. and May Warren
Barber, and was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ellen Barber,
Flora Wilson, and Anna Freeman.
She is survived by two brothers, Bill Barber and wife, Hazel, of
Owasso, Okla., and J. T. Barber and wife, Wilma, of Hagarville; and one
sister, Wanda Crumrine and husband, Harold, of Hagarville.
Funeral was at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home
Chapel with John Ballard officiating. Burial was in Rosetta Cemetery.
