Mrs. Barbara Ann Soard, 54, of Clarksville died Wednesday, May 26, 1999,
at her home.
She was a cafeteria employee and preceded in death by one brother, Louie
Don Pratt.
Survivors include her husband, Fred L. Soard; one daughter, Laquita
Leann Yates of Clarksville; one son, Darren Clayton Soard of Clarksville;
parents, Lawrence H. and Luella Skidgel Pratt of Clarksville; one sister,
Loretta Sue Hutchins of Lamar; and three brothers, Gary Lynn Pratt of Mountainburg,
Lawrence Dean Pratt of Clarksville, and Irvin Lee Pratt of Fort Smith.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 29, at East Mt. Zion Baptist Church
with Rev. Robbie Jackson officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Airy Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral
Home.
Active pallbearers were Carl Easley, Arlin Wilkins, Ken Wood, Jackie
Young, William Felkins, and Louie Leeds.

Mrs. Carol Ann Laudermilk, 60, died May 19, 1999, at her home in San
Bernardino, Calif.
She was a former resident of Clarksville, daughter of the late Zelma
Shriner and Carl Blair, and was preceded in death by one daughter, Irene
Laudermilk, great-granddaughter, Emily Ann Stevens, and brother, Carl Edward
Blair.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Laudermilk; two sons, Kenneth
Laudermilk Jr. of Covina, Calif., and Keith Laudermilk of California; six
daughters, Dessie Moye of San Bernardino, Calif., Karen Turnbow of Adelanto,
Calif., Carolyn Cotton and Penny Perry, both of Clarksville, Samantha Flaherty
of Coal Hill, and Carla Garcia of Anaheim, Calif.; six sons-in-law; two
daughters-in-law; two brothers; 33 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral and burial were in San Bernardino, Calif.
Charlie Lee Warren, 80, of Clarksville died Wednesday, May 26, 1999,
at his home.
He was a son of the late Albert S. and Lucinda Logan Warren.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Kathleen Adair Warren; three daughters,
Betty S. Wheeler of Clarksville, and Janie L. Wheeler and Mickie Hency,
both of Ozone; one son, Harold D. Warren of Fort Smith; three sisters,
Lois Cowen of Sacramento, Calif., Marie Kaufman of Culver City, Calif.,
and Edna Williams of Ozark; one brother, Arlie Warren of Teague, Texas;
12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at Roller-Cox Chapel with
Rev. Mike Fowler officiating. Burial was in the Russell Cemetery at Ozone.
Active pallbearers were Carl Wheeler, Roger Ost, Micheal Warren, Tony
Havener, Jason Patterman, and Donnie Underwood.
Honorary pallbearers were Christopher Mack, Kevin Patterman and David Graves.
Frank M. Behimer, 76, of Ozone died Saturday, May 29, 1999, at the Veterans
Hospital in Little Rock.
He was a cattle rancher, Methodist, World War II Navy veteran, and son
of the late Arthur and Ada I. Brennen Behimer.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Kitty Nell Meeks Behimer; one daughter,
Maureen Davis of Fallsville; three sons, Rick Behimer of Fallon, Nev.,
Reece Behimer of Knoxville, and Neal Behimer of Kansas, Okla.; 16 grandchildren;
and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, at Roller-Cox
Funeral Chapel with Rev. Carl Sory officiating. The body was cremated.

Mrs. Jane E. King, 82, of Upper Arlington, Ohio, died Wednesday, May
26, 1999, at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio.
She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Music with
a master's degree from the Chicago Conservatory. She directed the Tri-Village
Women's Chorus for 30 years, was a member of the Upper Arlington Civic
Orchestra, the Covenant Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon
and sang in the chancel choir for many years, and was also a member of
the Covenant Retirees Club.
She was the widow of Cecil King, a native of Clarksville; daughter of
the late Charles Edward and Kathryn Mitchell Edmund, and was preceded in
death by one sister, Margaret Allen.
She is survived by two sons, Edmund William King and Robert Cecil King
of Columbus, Ohio; one daughter, Carolyn Jane King of Columbus, Ohio; three
grandchildren, Thomas, Joseph and Angela King, all of Columbus, Ohio; one
sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Theodore Savides of Merrimac, Wis.;
one brother and sister-in-law, James and Olive Edmund of Boulder, Colo.;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 29, at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel
in Columbus, Ohio, with Rev. Thomas Albaum officiating. Burial was in Union
Cemetery.

Mrs. Mildred Eunice Sparks Boze, 80, of Lamar died Tuesday, May 25,
1999, at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
She was a native of Crow Mountain, daughter of the late Homer and Esther
Norris Jackson, widow of James Howard Sparks and Earl Boze, member of the
Lee's Chapel Assembly of God Church, and was preceded in death by one daughter,
Mildred Sumners, one son, Truman Boze, three sisters, Lavene Lamb, Janette
Deal, and Luella Clark, and two brothers, Quentin Jackson and infant Jackson.
She is survived by five sons and four daughters-in-law, James Harrel
and Carolyn Sparks of Portland, Ore., Burl Rushin Sparks of Dover, Charles
Gaylon and Lena Sparks of Lamar, William Earl and Rheba Sparks of Dover,
and Kenneth Earl and Ella Boze of Lamar; one daughter and son-in-law, Nelda
Frances and Dwain Sumners of Russellville; three sisters, Ruby Harris of
Visallia, Calif., Lena Wilson of Atkins, and Paulette Walker of Pottsville;
two brothers, Charles Jackson of Atkins and Dale Jackson of Morrilton;
29 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, May 28, at the Lee's Chapel Assembly of
God Church with Rev. Dwain Pritchard officiating.
Burial was in Owens Cemetery at Dover under the direction of Humphrey
Funeral Service.
Grandsons served as active pallbearers and granddaughters served as honorary pallbearers.
Mrs. Nettie Frances Lewis, 82, of Nail died Saturday, May 29, 1999,
at her home.
She was a native of Clarksville, daughter of the late Willie and Susie
Sparks Woods, and a member of the Mossville United Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Denver Lewis; one son, Ray Lewis of Nail;
one brother, Noah Woods of Mossville; five sisters, Mrs. Ethel Donley of
Shiloh, Mrs. Dosha Robinson of Swain, Mrs. Nellie Cranford of Aurora, Mrs.
Audrey White of Greeley, Colo., and Mrs. Ruby Powell of Huntsville; three
granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, at the Mossville United
Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Woods officiating.
Burial will be in Mossville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears
Funeral Home of Huntsville.

Mrs. Rosie Mae Sanders, 90, of Clarksville died Sunday, May 30, 1999,
at Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper.
She was a daughter of the late Elijah Miller and Etta C. Brown Weston,
a Jehovah Witness, and retired from the restaurant business.
She is survived by four sisters, Beulah Lee and Gladys Bacon, both of
Arizona, Tessie Ward of Colorado, and Vera Bailey of Oregon; three brothers,
Olen Weston of Indiana, and Leon Weston and Leonard Weston, both of Arizona;
one sister-in-law, Lora Weston of Walnut; one brother-in-law, Searl Watson
of Swain; four nieces, Paula Watson Frank of Jasper, Joe Etta Weston Langdon
of Walnut, Gussie Dudley of Wheatland, Mo., and Doris Helverson of Blue
Springs, Mo.; and five nephews, Alva G. Weston Sr. of Dearborn, Mo., Searl
Watson Jr. of Seguin, Texas, Garry Watson of Kansas City, Kan., Larry Watson
of Springdale, and James Watson of Everett.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 3, at the Swain Community Building
with Harold Clayborn officiating.
Burial will be in Swain Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral
Home.
