Fay Bennett
Fay Bennett, 81, of Clarksville died
Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
He was a graduate of Clarksville
High School and The College of the Ozarks where he received a degree in
pharmacy. He received a BA degree of Divinity at Duke University and
master degree at Princeton University. He finished his doctorate from
Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary and also THD of Divinity. He
started the Baylake Pines Methodist Church at Norfolk, Va., served as a
missionary in Mexico ten years and four years in Dominican Republic. A
professor at Columbia Bible College in Columbia, S.C., he was formerly
principal of Maria Christian School in Los Angeles, Calif. He had
traveled to all 50 states in US and 48 countries. He won the
distinguished alumni award at the University of the Ozarks and served
on the alumni board.
He is survived by his wife of 50
years, Jean Buckner Bennett.
Funeral service was at 10 a.m.
Thursday, Nov. 12, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank
Clemmons and Rev. David Hanshaw officiating. Burial was at Oakland
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert Farris,
Garland Bean, Maxie Smith, David Moore, Dallas Anderson, and Mark
Hatchett.
Visitation was from 6-7:30 p.m.

Frances Alessi-Fultz
Frances Adeline Alessi-Fultz, 84, of
Lamar died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late
George Ed and Gertrude Lillie Talley Threatt, attended Light House Full
Gospel Church in Clarksville, and was preceded in death by two sisters,
Inez Isreal and Lois May; and one brother, Robert Threatt.
Survivors include one daughter,
Velvet Overbey and husband, James, of Lamar; one son, Timothy Alessi of
Little Rock; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov.
16, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Hickman and
Rev. David Zeiler officiating. Burial was in Lamar Cemetery.
George P. Dailey
George Patrick Dailey, 72, of
Clarksville died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at his home.
He was a native of Cleveland, Ohio,
son of the late George and Patricia Ryan Dailey, graduate of St.
Edwards High School in Cleveland, Ohio, member of Holy Redeemer
Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus No. 5725, and Knights of Columbus
Fourth Degree at Fort Smith, and organizer of Shop with a Cop.
Survivors include his wife of 52
years, Wanda Dailey; one daughter, Terri Yarbrough and husband, David,
of Clarksville; two sons, Greg Dailey and wife, Julie, of Aurora,
Colo., and Rick Dailey and wife, Heather, of Clarksville; two sisters,
Patty Blum of Lakewood, Ohio, and Meg Frolich of Madina, Ohio; seven
grandchildren, Chris and Megan Dailey, Kallie Cooper, Ashley and Kacy
Yarbrough, and Arie and Zane Dailey; and one great-grandchild, Hunter
Dailey.
Rosary service was at 5:30 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 13, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Funeral was at 10
a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father
William Wewers officiating. The body was cremated. Local arrangements
were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

James Coy King
James Coy King, 92, of Russellville
died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at Little Rock.
He was a native of Lamar, son of the
late Winfred R. and Ethel Hays King, member of Harvest Time Family
Worship Center in Russellville, preceded in death by his wife, Nona
Esther Slusser King; two brothers, John King and Paul King; and four
sisters, Euna Sparks, Louise Sparks, Hazel Rose, and Ruth Morrow.
Survivors include two brothers, Hays
King and Bruce King, both of Green River, Wyo.; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday,
Nov. 14, at Harvest Time Family Worship Center in Russellville with
Pastor Ed Wilbourn officiating. The body was cremated. Local
arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
William Lee Taylor Sr.
William Lee Taylor Sr., 59, of Lamar
died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at his home.
He was a native of Iowa and preceded
in death by his parents and several brothers.
Survivors include two daughters,
Christie Letourneau of Fayette, Iowa, and Heather Taylor of
Independence, Iowa; two sons, William Taylor Jr. of Lamar and
Jerry
Taylor of Waterloo, Iowa; two brothers, Richard and James Taylor, both
of Waterloo, Iowa; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov.
14, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. The body will be cremated.
