Jacob Connor Beck
Jacob Conner Beck, 3,
of Clarksville was called home to be with the Lord at Arkansas
Children's Hospital in Little Rock on Thursday, May 8, 2008.
He was born July 27, 2004, at
Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by
great-grandparents, Thomas Leon Beck, Anna Lee Rogers Beck, Jack
Caldwell, and Mary Ilene Thompson Caldwell.
Survivors are his parents, Terry
Glen and Stephanie Nicole Johnson Thomas Beck of Clarksville; maternal
grandparents are Samuel J. and Sheila Allen Winterberg of Clarksville
and Timothy Wayne Johnson of Cleveland, Tenn.; paternal grandparents,
Tommy and JackIleen Caldwell Beck of Scranton; maternal
great-grandparents, Ebb Ben and Willa Robinson Allen of Smithfield,
Ky., James and Juanita Combs Johnson of Harlan County, Ky.;
maternal
uncles, Timothy Allen Thomas and wife, Erica, of Spadra, Samuel J.
Winterberg IV and Austin James Winterberg of Clarksville; paternal
uncles, Timothy Beck and wife, Erica, of Scranton, Thomas Beck of
Clarksville; paternal aunts, Virginia Kennedy and husband, Ronnie, of
Winamac, Ind., and Anna Wynn and husband, Leslie, of Scranton; and
cousins, Mason Allen Thomas, Maddison and Allison Beck, Thomas James
(T. J.) Beck, Julie Ann and Amber Wynn, Rose Anna and Racheal and
Christie Kennedy.
Funeral was at noon Tuesday, May 13,
at First Baptist Church in Clarksville with Rev. Franklin Piercey
officiating.
Burial was in Oakland Cemetery under
the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Timmy Beck,
Thomas Beck, Timothy Allen Thomas, and Samuel J. Winterberg IV.
Honorary pallbearer was Austin James Winterberg.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Monday,
May 12, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Vera Elva Perrett
Vera Elva Perrett, 96, of
Clarksville died Sunday, May 11, 2008, at Clarksville Convalescent Home.
She was a native of Sioux City,
Iowa, daughter of the late Ira and Blanche Yockey Henshaw, widow of
William James Perrett, member of Wesley Methodist Church in Sioux City,
Iowa, and was preceded in death by one son, Dr. James W. Perrett.
Survivors include one daughter,
Donna Nelson of Clarksville; one son, Duey Perrett of Rock Rapids,
Iowa; seven grandchildren, Debbie Casey of Lamar, Joan Brazil of Van
Buren, Tom Nelson of London, Brett Perrett of Knoxville, Ronoe Neison
of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., and Houston Perrett and Preston
Perrett, both of Rock Rapids, Iowa; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be
held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Darrell
Bridges officiating. The body was cremated. Local arrangements are
under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Jerry Lynn Robinson
Jerry Lynn Robinson, 57, of
Hindsville, father of Johnny Robinson of Clarksville, died Monday, May
5, 2008, at his home.
He was a native of Cordell, Okla.,
heavy equipment operator for the Madison County Road and Bridge
Department, United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, member of
the American Legion, and was preceded in death by his mother, Cleatus
Inez Bowen Robinson, and one nephew, Billie Robinson.
Other survivors include his father,
Glen David Robinson of Hindsville; and four brothers, Darrell Robinson
of Kingston, Rickey Robinson and Brian Robinson, both of Georgetown,
and David Robinson of Wesley.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Thursday, May
8, at Brashears Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Denver Cochran
officiating. Burial was in Buckeye Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Leo Bowen,
Kenneth Wright, Lanny McConnell, Marty McConnell, Charles Glenn and
Dennis Waters.
Honorary pallbearers were employees
of the Madison County Road and Bridge Department.

Sylvia D. Suggs
Sylvia Delores Suggs, 72, of
Clarksville died Saturday, May 10, 2008, in Clarksville.
She was a dietary technician at
Johnson Regional Medical Center, member of East Mount Zion
Trinity
Baptist Church, native of Missouri, daughter of the late Walter and Ila
Bernicie Burnett Brock, and was preceded in death by one brother,
Donald Ray Brock; and one grandson, Houston Woolderton.
Survivors include her husband of 58
years, Albert (Mutt) Leon Suggs; four daughters, Geraldine Suggs Stepp
of Catalpa, Sharon K. Suggs Griffin of Ozark, Linda Ann Suggs Killer of
Dover, and Melissa (Missy) Suggs Chang of Springfield, Mo.; one son,
Jimmy Leon Suggs of Oark; one sister, Nora Lee Mason of Oark; one
brother, Ellis Dole Brock of Alma; 13 grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday,
May 15, at the Oark Baptist Church with Rev. Leo Chang and Rev. Robbie
Jackson officiating.
Burial will be in Oark Cemetery
under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Steve
Gunn, Dwight Stepp, David Yates, Clint Boen, John Griffin, and Mick
Crocker.
