Charlene Molden
Charlene Molden, 72, died Sunday,
Jan. 27, 2008, at Pikes Peak Hospice in Colorado Springs, Colo.
A native of Clarksville, she was a
daughter of the late Jasper B. Guess, widow of Kenneth E. Molden,
realtor, and member of the Adams County Democratic Party.
Survivors include her mother, Ruth
Guess of Clarksville; two brothers, James Richard Guess of
Clarksville
and Forrest R. Guess of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one sister, Lynn
Guess of Colorado Springs, Colo.
A private service will be held on
Saturday, Feb. 2, at the home of a brother in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The body will be cremated and the cremains will be placed at the
gravesite of her late husband.
Clarence D. Warren
Clarence Dwight Warren, 70, of
Hagarville died Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, at Johnson Regional Medical
Center.
He was a native of Dillon and son of
the late Virgil Webb and May Bradley Warren.
Survivors include his wife of 51
years, Ruby Garland Warren; one daughter, Lisa Lufkin and
husband,
Larry, of Little Rock; three sons, David Warren and wife, Diane, of
Mount Jackson, Va., Timothy Warren of Frisco, Texas, and Anthony Warren
and wife, Susan, of Little Rock; one brother, E. H. Warren of New Port
Richey, Fla.; and six grandchildren, Michael, Bethany, Daniel,
Jennifer, Payne and Piper.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday,
Jan. 31, at Roller-Cox Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bob Freeman
officiating. Burial will be at Salus Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Kevin
Schouweiler, Roger Trusty, Kevin Prophet, Daniel Warren, Michael
Warren, and Larry Lufkin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Fred
Garland, Gordon Reese, Jim Mitchell, Payne Warren and Roger Barlett.

Children's Hospital.
Lawrence R. Holman
Lawrence Ray Holman, 74, of Lamar
died Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, at Clarksville Convalescent Home.
He was a son of the late Pink
William and Clara A. Grace Holman, native of Mount Judea, machine
operator, and was preceded in death by one daughter, Leta Reames; and
one sister, Erma Lea Holt.
Survivors include four daughters,
Janie Martin and husband, Mike, Joann Wood, and Rita Brooks, all of
Clarksville, and Debbie Ramsey and husband, DeVoe, of Hartman; six
sons, Terry Holman and wife, Rosemary, Jimmy Holman and wife,
Sheri,
and Ronnie Dale Holman, all of Lamar, Roger Holman and wife, Becky, and
Dean Holman, all of Clarksville, and Rocky Holman and wife, Siscee, of
Oark; one sister, Pauline Reynolds of St. Charles, Mo.; three
brothers, Junior Holman of Matthews, Mo., Glen Holman of Sikeston, Mo.,
and Gene Holman of Lamar; 29 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and
two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob
Freeman and Rev. Mike Payne officiating. Burial will be in Holman
Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Dale
Wood, Darian Holman, Jason Holman, Adam Woods, Robert Holman, Toby
Holman, Nathan Holman, and Eugene Hill.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff
Wood, Claude Woodard, Bill Holt, and Leon Holt.
Charlie Lee Pegg
Charlie Lee Pegg, 89, of Texarkana,
Texas, whose daughter and son-in-law, Sammie and Thomas Stephenson,
reside in Lamar, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, at Christus St. Michael's
Health System in Texarkana.
He was a native of Monroe, Okla.,
son of the late Charley Clint and Annie Luvenia Caton Pegg, former
resident of the McCrory area, attended schools in Gourdneck, Oil Trough
and McCrory, member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, farmer for many years
prior to becoming a real estate broker, and later was employed by the
Aircraft Plant in California where he worked on the first jet airplane
produced. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma James Pegg.
Survivors include his wife, Fern
Blount Pegg; three other daughters, Carol Alumbaugh and husband, Ben,
of Cordova, Tenn., Loretta Lynn Tomlin of Corinth, Miss., and Mary Lee
Moreton and husband, Derek, of Newberry, Fla.; one sister, Lucille
Thompson and husband, Jack, of Texarkana, Texas; 12 grandchildren and
13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan.
24, at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in McCrory. Burial was in Fakes
Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tosh and Chess
Stephenson, Mickey, Terry Lynn and William Pegg, and Terry Mynatt.

Edwin Emil Tuma
Edwin Emil Tuma, 77, of Clarksville
died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at his home.
A native of Schuyler, Neb., he was a
son of the late Emil Joseph and Eva Antonia Zoubek Tuma, graduate of
Schuyler High School, retired farmer, minister of the Jehovah's
Witnesses congregation, and was preceded in death by one sister, Irene
Gerrard; and one brother, Larry Tuma.
Survivors include his wife, Irene
Kassal Tuma; two daughters, Susan Lynn Findlay of Harlan, Iowa, and
Jacqueline Annette Tuma of Fort Smith; one sister, Wilma Teach and
husband, Ron, of Big Fork, Mont.; and one brother, Harvey Tuma and
wife, Lorene, of Columbus, Neb.
A memorial service was held at 1
p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall with
Doug Reves officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of
Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Stella F. Waterman
Stella Freeman Waterman, 94, of
Dover, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical
Center in Russellville.
A native of Treat, she was a
daughter of the late Tom and Georgeann Hendrix Freeman, widow of Dave
Waterman; and was preceded in death by one daughter, Verna Waterman;
four brothers, Lee, Floyd, Henry and Virgil Freeman; and four sisters,
Maudie Atchley, Annie Coke, Minnie Phillips and Winnie Freeman.
She is survived by two sons, William
David (W. D.) Waterman and wife, Charlotte, of Rio Vista, Calif., and
Kenneth Waterman and wife, Tina, of Pottstown, Pa.; one daughter,
Virginia Merritt and husband, Bob, of Russellville; eight
grandchildren, Wanda Vaughn and husband, Darrell, of Dover, Phil
Waterman and wife, Kathy, of London, Eddie Waterman and wife, Rhonda,
of Dover, Ronald Waterman and wife, Lucy, of Lodi, Calif., Bobby Wayne
Merritt and wife, Joan, of Jackson, Miss., Dennis Merritt and wife,
Gwen, of Newport News, Va., Kenny Waterman Jr. and wife, Karen, of
Pottstown, Pa., and Kelly West and husband, Ken, of Westchester, Pa.;
22 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-great grandchild.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday,
Jan. 26, at Humphrey Funeral Service Chapel in Russellville with Rev.
Sandy Taylor officiating. Burial was at Treat Cemetery.
