Anna Clementson
Anna Margaret Clementson, 83, of
Scranton died Nov. 18, 2007, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Philadelphia,
Pa., daughter of the late Gustave Edward and Anna Marie Guenther Auer,
widow of William Albert Clementson, and a Baptist.
She is survived by two daughters,
Linn Sagor and husband, Dave, of Scranton and Trish Miller and husband,
Mike, of Tull; two sons, Bill Clementson and wife, Jeanette, of
Vancouver, Canada, and Rob Clementson and wife, Julie, of Scranton; one
brother, Edward Auer of Audubon, Pa.; 11 grandchildren, David,
Jennifer, Bethany, Adriana, Meiko, Katryna, Ko, Petra, Cole, Jacc, and
Lucas; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 21, at the First Baptist Church of Scranton with Rev.
Franklin Piercey officiating.
Pallbearers will be John Roberson,
George Harrison, Glen Amos, Bill Gandy, James Thompson and Skeet
Grenwelge.
The body will be cremated.
Charles E. Hoing
Charles Edward Hoing, 65, of Coal
Hill died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at Peachtree Hospice Palliative Care
Unit in Fort Smith.
He was a native of Coal Hill, former
employee of Channel 10 television in Lafayette, La., and Channel 24 in
Fort Smith, where he was promoted to chief engineer, and was currently
employed at Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN). He was a
veteran of the Army National Guard, 1959 graduate of Coal Hill High
School and a 1961 graduate of Draughns Business College.
Survivors include two sons, Jason
Hoing and Christopher Hoing; parents, Leon (Bud) and Marie Hoing of
Coal Hill; two sisters, Lynda Harrington and huband, Danny, of Ozark
and Mary Links of Irving, Texas; several nieces, nephews and cousins;
and companion, Diane Dyer of Muldrow, Okla.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov.
20, at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ted Darling and Rev.
Garland Williams officiating. Burial was in Coal Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Joe Wayne
Hoing, Ben Schaffer, Donald Hagan, Todd Phillips, Ken Pinkston, and
Tony Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers were John Wayne
Holloway, Bobby Bert Estep, Brent Webb, Don Yates, Jim Wilson, Tommy
Dyer, Leroy Douglas, Johnny Chrisman and Greg Miller.
Edward H. Sharp
Edward H. Sharp, 49, of Hartman died
Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was employed as a technician at
Hanes Brand Inc. of Clarksville.
Survivors include his fiancee, Tonya
Siegeler of Hartman; one daughter, Spc. Holly Sharp of the U. S. Army;
two sons, Adam Sharp of Clarksville and Brian Sharp of Hartman; one
stepchild, Jessica Sparks of Clarksville; parents, Howard and Carmen
Sharp of Hartman; one sister, Debbie Brown and husband, Cecil, of
Hartman; one niece, Megan Moore of Hartman; two nephews, Sean and
Michael Brown of Hartman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday,
Nov. 21, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Lonnie
Miner, John Brown, Greg England, David Jeffords, Louis Thompson, and
Bobby Thompson.

Faye Evelyn McKinney
Faye Evelyn Baskin McKinney, 83, of
Clarksville died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at her home.
She was a native of the Harmony
Community, daughter of the late Samuel Knox and Eva Turney Baskin,
retired employee of Clarksville Footwear, and was preceded in death by
one sister, Anna Lee Self; and one brother, Sammie Keith.
Survivors include her husband, Earl
Edward McKinney; two daughters, Sharon Ralph and Linda Pledger and
husband, Floyd, all of Clarksville; one son, Gary McKinney and wife,
Rejina, of Plumerville; two sisters, Leslie Griffin and Kay Hurst, both
of Clarksville; one brother, Robert C. Baskin of Clarksville; nine
grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov.
16, at Roller-Cox Funeral Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating.
Burial was in Harmony Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Tyrel
McKinney, Kyle McKinney, Brian Pledger, Cliff Jacobs, Bruce Jacobs, and
Matthew Jacobs.

Garland E. Ogilvie
Garland Eugene Ogilvie, 85, of
Prairie Grove died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, in Fayetteville.
He was a native of the Harmony
Community, son of the late Joseph Marvin and Sallie Mae Wilson Ogilvie,
retired from the United States Air Force after having served 26 years,
and was preceded in death by one son, Gordan Ogilvie; and seven
brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Kaye
Ogilvie; one son, Larry and Nelda Ogilvie of Fayetteville, N. C.; one
daughter, Rebecca and Herb Andreen of Phoenix, Ariz.; three
grandchildren, Deanna Wicklund and Nicholas and Nicole Ogilvie; three
great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Barry and Luann Ridings of
Fayetteville and David and Cindy Ridings of Tucson, Ariz.; six
stepgrandchildren, Lowell, Curry, Emma, Michael, Laura and Sarah
Ridings.
Funeral was at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday,
Nov. 13, at Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie Grove with John
King, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Prairie Grove,
officiating. Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. in the
National Cemetery at Fayetteville.
Lola C. Edwards
Lola C. Edwards, 99, of Anderson,
Ind., died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at Millers Merry Manor in
Middletown, Ind.
She was born in the Woodland area to
James Riley and Elizabeth (Bessie) Qualls Hudson and was married to
Millard Edwards of Harmony. She was a cousin to the late Juanita King
and Bonne Doty.
She is survived by four children and
numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and
great-great-grandchildren.
Regna (Pat) Baskin
Regna (Pat) Baskin, 93, of
Clarksville died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007.
She was a daughter of the late
William and Molly Thomas Wofford, widow of R. E. (Gene) Baskin, and was
preceded in death by one brother, Hubert Yancy.
She is survived by two daughters,
Debby Dickerson and husband, James, and Jan Spanke and husband, Lance,
all of Clarksville; six grandchildren, Michelle Hardy and husband,
Chris, Lance Spanke II, Bobby Spanke and wife, Marlina, Tabitha Hoyt,
Heather Swanson and husband, Brian, and Stephanie Lewis; and six
great-grandchildren, Jordan and Cole Hardy, Gage Hoyt, Kaitlynn
Swanson, Haiden Brady, and Halen Lewis.
Funeral was at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov.
20, at Roller-Cox Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tom Edwards officiating.
Burial was in Harmony Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lance Spanke II,
Bobby Spanke, Brian Swanson, Toby Cook, Michael Frala and Ross
Battenfield.
Memorials may be made to the
Salvation Army.
Richard L. Pevahouse
Richard L. Pevahouse, 75, of Hemet,
Calif., father of Russell Pevahouse of Clarksville, died Sunday, Nov.
18, 2007.
He was preceded in death by one
daughter, Kimberlee Jones of Clarksville.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy
Foltz Pevahouse; two other sons, David Pevahouse of Tennessee and
Richard Rolls of California; one daughter, Debi Hurt of Hawaii; 11
grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The body was cremated. The cremains
will be buried at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif.
Robert C. Hughes
Robert C. (R. C.) Hughes, 89, of
Clarksville died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at his home.
A native of Winchester, Tenn.,
he
was a son of the late William Nathan and Dovie Lee Hall Hughes, Navy
veteran of World War II, member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors
Association, Little Rock VFW, and Rhode Island Masonic Lodge, volunteer
at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock for 16 years, and was preceded
in death by his wife of 50 years, Inez Alexander Hughes.
He is survived by one daughter,
Roberta Gill and husband, Jeff, of Clarksville; one son, Roger Powell
and wife, Jean, of Pine Bluff; two sisters, Vernie Mencer of Lake
Village and Susie Derden of Sherrill; seven grandchildren; and several
great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 10
a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Leon Barnes
officiating.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
The body was cremated.
Tonya Dixon Lavender
Tonya Dixon Lavender, 38, of Euless,
Texas, granddaughter of Harvey Severn and Bruce Dixon, both of London,
died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007.
She was a native of Russellville,
graduate of Spiro (Oklahoma) High School, and was preceded in death by
her father, Billy Dixon; grandmothers, Myrtle Armstrong and Juanita
Phillips.
Survivors include her husband, Mark
Lavender; three daughters, Wendy Dixon, and Donna and Emily Lavender of
Euless, Texas; one granddaughter, Kamryn Williams of Euless, Texas;
mother, Winnie Pipkins; brother, Mike Storment of Big Ceder, Okla.;
grandfather, John Armstrong of Gentry; nephew, Wes Storment of Panama,
Okla.; uncle and aunt, George and Carol Severn of Gentry; and aunts,
Mary Williams of Greenwood and Anna Hays of Las Vegas, Nev.
A memorial service was held Sunday,
Nov. 18, at Amalla Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas.
Burley W. King
Burley W. King, 91, of Clarksville
died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Billie
King; two sons, Rev. Burnett King of Clarksville and Robert King of Van
Buren; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday,
Nov. 24, 2007, at the Harmony Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in
Harmony Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 23, at Hardwicke Funeral Home.
