Eva Lee King
Eva Lee King, 91, of Clarksville
died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at her home.
A native of London, she was a
daughter of the late Sidney and Clara Chappell Gotcher, widow of Basil
King, member and past elder and deacon of Harmony Presbyterian Church
and past president of the Women's Association. She graduated from
London High School in 1934, as salutatorian of her class, past member
of the Harmony Stitch and Chatter Quilting Club, and was preceded in
death by her twin brother.
She is survived by several cousins.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, July
2, at the Harmony Presbyterian Church with Rev. Burnett King and Rev.
Bobby King officiating.
Burial was in Harmony Cemetery under
the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Kenny Elkins, Carl
Miller, Paul Gotcher, Pat Gotcher, Gaylord Miller, Burnett King, and
Bobby King.

James B. Bernhard
James B. Bernhard, 68, of
Altus died Friday, June 29, 2007, at the U. S. Veterans Hospital
in Fayetteville.
He was a retired maintenance
employee and U. S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by one daughter,
Amanda Nolan of Altus; one son, John Nolan of Fayetteville; one
grandchild, Aleigha Nolan; and companion, Teresa Odom of Altus.
A memorial service was held at 2
p.m. Tuesday, July 3, at the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
Arrangements were under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.

Leonard E. Adams Sr.
Leonard Earl Adams Sr., 78, of Ozone
died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at his home.
He was a son of the late James Henry
and Vonnie Grace Harper Adams, veteran of the Korean War with a
Presidential Unit Citation received during combat, and was preceded in
death by one brother, Denver Adams.
Survivors include his wife of 51
years, Wilma V. Stewart Adams; two daughters, Brenda Sue Adams Freeman
of Ozone and Priscilla Ann Adams Skaggs of Clarksville; one son,
Leonard E. Adams Jr. of Vian, Okla.; two sisters, Shirley May Adams
Jaramillo of Springdale and Marjorie Grace Adams Hudgens of
Warner
Robins, Ga.; and four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Harleigh Freeman, Jacob
Malachi Freeman and Kaleb Matthew Freeman, all of Ozone, and Dalton
Cole Skaggs of Clarksville.
Graveside services and burial were
at 2 p.m. Friday, June 29, at the Sherman Cemetery at Ozone.
Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Harley
Freeman, Michael Skaggs, Brenda Freeman, Priscilla Skaggs, Wilma Adams,
and Kaitlyn Freeman.
Honorary pallbearers were Jacob
Freeman, Kaleb Freeman and Dalton Skaggs.

Linda L. Seals
Linda L. Seals, 69, of Coal Hill
died Thursday, June 28, 2007.
She was a daughter of the late
Columbus and Cleo Neal Carlton, 1981 graduate of Arkansas Tech
University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing, Catholic,
registered nurse, and was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years,
Ulysses Seals; and two sisters, Alta Mosley and Jane Pickett.
Survivors include two daughters,
Sheri Davis of Pottsville and Tonya Seals of Russellville; one son, Bob
Seals of Coal Hill; four brothers, Lawrence Carlton of Salus, Lowell
Carlton and Frank Carlton, both of Ozone and Bennie Carlton of
Clarksville; two sisters, Alma Batchelder of Redding, Calif., and
Barbra Thomas of Lenoir City, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Megan Seals
and Olivia Ford, both of Russellville.
Graveside services and burial were
at 2 p.m. Monday, July 2, at St. Mary's Cemetery in Altus with Father
Bill Thomas officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of
Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
