Robert E. Hudson
Robert E. Hudson, 60, of Clarksville
died Sunday, May 13, 2007, from injuries sustained in an
automobile-motorcycle accident near London.
He was a native of Clarksville, son
of the late Lucille Bishop Hudson, 1965 graduate of Clarksville High
School, graduate of the University of the Ozarks, member of Cherry
Street Baptist Church, heavy equipment operator, bus driver for
Clarksville Schools, former employee of Bechtel at Arkansas Nuclear One
and Goodyear Rubber and Tire Company in Memphis, Tenn., former owner of
the Movie Store in Clarksville and a barbecue lunch business, and
served in the Arkansas National Guard Unit at Clarksville. He was a
Razorback fan, an acrobatic airplane pilot, enjoyed dancing, a friend
to everyone, lover of dogs, an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and
participated in many motorcycle rallies, loved to travel, and had
always been a loving caregiver for his mother and father.
Survivors include his father, Reece
Hudson of Clarksville; one sister, Mary Lou Hyde and husband, David, of
Russellville; one brother, Jimmy Hudson and wife, Carol, of Athens,
Texas; three nieces, Kelly Foster and husband, Stephen, of Midway,
Lindsay Hyde of Russellville and Lisa Colley and husband, Paul, of
Austin, Texas; one nephew, Brian Hudson and wife, Dawn, of Flint,
Texas; great-nieces, Kate and Riley Colley of Austin, Texas, and
Halle
Hudson of Flint, Texas; and two great-nephews, Reece and Carter Hudson
of Tyler, Texas.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m.
Wednesday, May 16, at Cherry Street Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Ray
Usery and Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery
under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Gary Paul
Upton, Ted Young, Harve Taylor, Keith Jaggers, David Morgan, Don
Morgan, David Pyron, and Kent Cecil.
Honorary pallbearers will be the
Harley Davidson motorcycle group and the dancing group.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m.
Tuesday, May 15, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel.
Gladys C. Ransom
Graveside memorial services for
Gladys Crowley Ransom, 93, of Port Angeles, Wash., formerly of
Clarksville, who died Sunday, March 18, 2007, in Port Angeles, Wash.,
will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at Oakland Cemetery under the
direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home. Her complete obituary appeared in

Fred
Walter Montgomery
Fred Walter Montgomery, 59, of Fort
Smith died April 12, 2007.
He was a son of Edwin and Willa
French Montgomery.
Survivors include three daughters,
Deborah Graves and Bethany Bean, both of Clarksville, and Stephanie
Allison of Pocola, Okla.; two sons, Tim Montgomery of Cusick, Wash.,
and Dean Montgomery of Lavaca; one sister, Doris Wright of Ozark; and
four brothers, Larry Montgomery of Ozone, Dan Montgomery of Alabama,
Robert Montgomery of Virginia, and Bill Montgomery of Texas.
A memorial service was held
Saturday, April 28, at the Oark Cemetery. Arrangements were under the
direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Ida
Esthel Houser
Ida Esthel Houser, 90, of Scranton
died Tuesday, May 8, 2007, in Paris.
A native of Cecil, she was a
daughter of the late Ira E. and Rhue Edwards Rice, member of
Scranton
Holiness Church, and was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years,
Vernon Houser; and one son-in-law, Jackie Banning.
She is survived by one daughter,
Kathleen Banning of Scranton; one son, Russell Houser and wife, Pat, of
Hiram, Ga.; one sister, Melba Palarino of Cecil; one sister-in-law,
Doris Carson of Fort Smith; one granddaughter, Gayle Banning of
Scranton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, May
11, at Smith Mortuary Chapel in Charleston with burial in the McKendree
Cemetery north of Subiaco.
Pallbearers were Eddie Hahn, Dale
Rice, Don Rice, Ron Rice, Angelo Palarino, and Russell Houser.

L. Rhinehart
Linda Lucille Rhinehart, 57, of
Hartman died Monday, May 14, 2007, at Hartman.
She was a member of the Hartman
Baptist Church, daughter of the late W. C. and Captola Sutton Higgins,
widow of Lindell Rhinehart, and was preceded in death by one son,
Wayne Rhinehart, and four sisters, Ann Stover, Carolyn Phelps, Marjory
Smith, and A. George Higgins.
She is survived by six daughters,
Tina South of Hartman, Captola Paxson and Elizabeth Zimmer and husband,
Bryan, all of Paris, Sherri Christenberry of Keoto, Okla., Susan
Beasley and husband, Tommy, of New Blaine, and Tammy Rhinehart of
Stephens; one son, Todd Rhinehart of Keoto, Okla.;
two sisters, Brenda Bowman of
Hartman and Amanda Rowland of Grants Pass, Ore.; 17 grandchildren; 12
great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday,
May 18, at the Hartman Baptist Church with Rev. Grady Glass officiating.
Burial will be in Hartman Cemetery
under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be C. W.
Higgins, Clifford Higgins, Barney Higgins, Rick Cauthren, Melvin Jo
Cauthren, and Dewey Stover.

Loyzelle
D. Hamilton
Loyzelle Dake Hamilton, 66, died
Saturday, May 12, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.
She was a native of Clarksville,
daughter of the late Clyde and Lois Dickerson Dake, graduate of
Clarksville High School, pursued a nursing degree at Sparks
Regional
Medical Center in Fort Smith, organist for Verdigris United Methodist
Church for the past several years, former employee of John Zink for
eight years, Dresser Engineering for four years, and recently retired
from retirement specialist for the city of Tulsa, Okla., after 16 years
of service.
Survivors include her husband, John
Hamilton; one son, Stephen Dake Yeager and wife, Cindy, of Broken
Arrow, Okla.; and one grandson, Bryant Dake Yeager of Crowley, Texas.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May
15, at Verdigris United Methodist Church followed by graveside services
and burial at 4 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville. Arrangements
were under the direction of Moore's Eastlawn in Tulsa, Okla.
Patricia
Ann Johnston
Patricia Ann Johnston, 60, of
Roland, Okla., daughter of Ruby Hunter of Clarksville, died Sunday, May
13, 2007, in Fort Smith.
She was preceded in death by one
son, Ron Olson; and her father, Charles Hunter.
Other survivors include her husband,
Kenneth Wayne Johnston; three sons, Rudy Olson of Colorado Springs,
Colo., Chaz Olson of Dalton, Ga., and Eric Olson of Greenwood; two
sisters, Mary Kay Thompson of Hartman and Ruby Debbie Rhinebold of
Golden Dale, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday,
May 17, at Roller-Cox Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Franklin
officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Sharon Louise Head Curtis, 60, of
Lamar died Thursday, May 10, 2007, in Fort Smith.
She was a daughter of the late
Robert A. Head, retired secretary, and member of Lamar Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry
Dean Curtis; one daughter, Kimberly A. Curtis Lauppe and husband,
Marion, of Lamar; one son, Jeffery T. Curtis and wife, Connie, of
Havana; mother, Jessie M. Head of Lamar; three sisters, Mary Jess
Dorman of Springdale, Margaret Ann Deaver of Fort Smith, and Jo Ellen
Banhart of Van Buren; and five grandchildren, Katie Shelton,
Chris
Bottoms, Cody Lauppe, Cory Lauppe, and Heather Lauppe.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, May
12, at Lamar Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Dorman officiating.
Burial was in Lamar Cemetery under
the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
