Adeline Kelly Casey, 82, of Lamar died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at her
home.
She was a retired federal civil service employee, member of the First
United Methodist Church, daughter of the late John Henry and Sara Jane
Corrigan Kelly, widow of Raymond L. Casey, and was preceded in death by
two brothers, Johnny Henry Kelly and Charles Lewis Kelly; and three
sisters, Martha Cathrine, Delena Gertrude, and Gennetta Juanita.
She is survived by two daughters, Priscilla Paugh of Lamar and Mary
Harrington and husband, David, of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two sons, Mike Casey
and wife, Paula, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Paul Casey and wife,
Cindy, of Moore, Okla.; one sister, Grace Ellen Gray of Largo, Fla.;
nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at Roller-Cox Chapel with
Rev. Steve Wingo officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at the
National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
Active pallbearers will be Tom Casey, Jon Casey, Glenn Casey, Albert
McGuire, and Ryan Casey.
Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters.
Clara Koontz Cebula, 79, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, in Panama City,
Fla.
She was a former resident of Hartman, daughter of the late Permelia
(Houston) and Hiram Koontz Sr., and a former student at Hartman High
School.
She is survived by one son, Robert Cebula; three daughters, Brenda
Russell Wheatley, Peggy Russell Sullivan, and Carolyn Russell McClure;
two brothers, Hiram A. Koontz Jr. and Walter Koontz; one sister, Louise
Koontz Kampfenkel; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Doris (Jimmie) Harkreader, 75, of Hartman died Wednesday, Nov. 23,
2005, at her home.
A native of Hartman, she was a daughter of the late Jimmy and Bonnie
Butler Linton, widow of Raymond O. Harkreader, retired farmer, and
member of the Hartman Methodist Church.
She is survived by three nieces, Jane Burgess and Pee Wee Stroud, both
of Clarksville, and Carolyn Harkreader of Hartman; three nephews, David
Harkreader and Donald Harkreader and wife, BeeBee, all of Hartman, and
Larry Harkreader of Fort Smith; great-nephew, Dillon Burgess of
Clarksville; and two brothers-in-law, Haskell Harkreader and J. R.
Harkreader, both of Hartman.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at the Hartman Methodist
Church with Robert Patterson officiating.
Burial was at Hartman Cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral
Home.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Carter, Marshall Stiles, Donnie Harkreader,
Jamie Harkreader, David Handley, and Eugene Scarberry.
Herman C. Faucett, 88, of Greers Ferry died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, at
Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
He was a native of Coal Hill, son of the late Robert and Bess Flake
Faucett, graduate of Coal Hill High School, World War II Navy veteran,
member of the VFW, and was preceded in death by one daughter, Tandy
Faucett.
Survivors are his wife, Nan Baskin Faucett; one daughter and
son-in-law, Nancy and Doug Sakal of Tucson, Ariz.; one son and
daughter-in-law, Jim Bob and Donna Faucett of Greers Ferry; one sister,
Pauline McCaslaid of Hot Springs; and two grandchildren, Neil Brashear
and Jennifer Faucett, both of Greers Ferry.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with
Rev. Larry Horne officiating. Burial was in Hess Cemetery at Coal Hill.
James L. Ragon, 82, of Edmond, Okla., died Nov. 10, 2005.
A native of the Spadra Community, he was a son of the late Louis Eli
and Virgin Mary Ragon, attended the University of the Ozarks in
Clarksville and the University of Oklahoma at Norman majoring in music,
served in the U. S. Navy, former employee of the CCC's program and
welded submarines in the shipyards of CT, and was a former resident of
Kansas City where he was employed by and served as a vice president of
TG&Y.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mary Catherine Logan Ragon; two
sons, James Sanford Ragon and wife, Laura, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and
Robert Travis Ragon and wife, Cyndi, of Lee's Summit, Mo.; three
sisters, Gracia King and husband, Arch, of Fort Smith, Martha Fields of
Memphis, Tenn., and Ouida Collier of Houston, Texas; five
grandchildren, Katharine Elayne, Joshua Logan, Tiffany Michelle, Alisha
Kristine and Valerie Joann; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at the First Baptist Church of
Edmond, Okla.
Mervin Denton Frost, 88, of Clarksville died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, at
Clarksville Convalescent Home.
He was a son of the late Edgar and Esma King Frost, retired carpenter
and timber employee, and was preceded in death by two sons, Bill Frost
and Gary Frost.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Gordon Woolf
of Cocoa, Fla.; one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Rebecca Frost of
Dayton, Texas; one stepson, Charles McCarley of Clarksville; seven
grandchildren, Kevin, Elizabeth, Lisa, Karen, Rene, Leslie and Randy;
and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will be in Lone Pine
Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Loy Higgins, Mike Sexton, Gayland Higgins,
Earl Lewis, Danny Hamm, and Brian Clinton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Delbert Whorton, Kenneth Higgins and Keith
Frost.
Ulysses Freeman Seals, 73, of Coal Hill died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005,
at his home.
He was a son of the late Ulysses Grant and Willa Neal Seals, carpenter
and cabinet maker, Catholic, veteran of the U. S. Navy having served in
the Korean War and was the recipient of the National Defense Medal, the
Korean War Service Medal (two stars), United Nations Service Medal and
the China Service Medal.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Carlton Seals; two daughters, Sheri
Davis and husband, Dr. Randall Davis, of Russellville and Tonya Seals
of Pottsville; one son, Bob Seals of Coal Hill; two brothers, Luther
Seals of Greenwood and Gerald Seals of Alma; four sisters, Hazel Stepp
and Pansy Thompson, both of Clarksville, Evelyn Hale of Perry and
Darlene Seals of Alma; and two grandchildren, Megan and Olivia.
William Albert Clementson, 82, of Scranton died Thursday, Nov. 24,
2005, at Arkansas Heart Hospital
He was a son of the late Edward and Kate Mae Bosworth Clementson,
retired from the U. S. Navy and U. S. Air Force having served in World
War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, and preceded in death by
five brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Margaret Auer Clementson; two
daughters, Linda Sagor and husband, Dave, of Scranton and Patricia
Miller and husband, Michael, of Tull; two sons, William Clementson and
wife, Jeanette, of Vancouver, Canada, and Robert Clementson and wife,
Julie, of Scranton; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
