Cody Raymond Holland, 18, of Clarksville died Friday afternoon, Aug. 5,
2005, from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident on County Road
3291.
He was a construction employee and grandson of the late Carl D. Holland.
Survivors include his parents, John and Mary Holland of Clarksville;
grandparents, Nan E. Holland of Clarksville, Stanley and Rennie Craig
of Knoxville, and Orval Joe Lindsay of Little Rock; one sister, Tasha
Holland of Clarksville; and two brothers, John Nolan Holland and Jake
Holland of Clarksville.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev.
Amos Pledger officiating. Burial was in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Ben Holland, Robert Yarbrough, Mike Bolwles,
Joe Ramsey, Bob Long, and Zachary Mitchell.
June E. Borne, 72, of Dayton, Tenn., whose daughter and son-in-law,
Donna and Tom Ford reside in Clarksville, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at
her home.
She was a native of Rhea County, daughter of the late Roy E. and
Florence Phillips Cheeks, member of Morgantown Baptist Church of
Dayton, Tenn., and was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Smith
and Eva Jean Swafford.
Other survivors include her husband of 52 years Wendell Borne; three
sons and two daughters-in-law, Rodney and Sandra Borne of Eldorado,
Kan., Jim and Linda Borne of Atlanta, Ga., and David Borne of Dayton,
Tenn.; three brothers, Roy and Jerry Cheeks of Dayton, Tenn., and
Archie Cheeks of Graysville, Tenn.; one sister, Wilma Walker of Dayton,
Tenn.; aunt and uncle, Bessie Mae Phillips and Tommy Phillips, both of
Dayton, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Jack D. Clark, 49, of Clarksville died Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, in Clinton.
A native of Bad Connstatt, Germany, he was a painter, carpenter and
member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessica Wolfe of West Virginia and
Jennifer Garcia of California; one son, Jeremy Wolfe of West Virgina;
parents, Jim and Joan Clark of Clarksville; two sisters, Cindy Martin
and Rena Baker, both of Clarksville; one brother, Aaron Clark of
Clarksville; and one grandchild.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at River Valley Church of Christ
with Mike Eppinette officiating.
Burial was in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral
Home.
Jessie Alene Huffty, 85, of Ozark died Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, at
Countryside Manor Nursing Home near Lamar.
She was a daughter of the late Henry Houston and Lilly Bell Suggs,
native of Boxelder, Texas, former resident of Bastrop, La., where she
was a member of the Calvary Southern Baptist church, a seamstress, and
widow of Hardamon Hershy Huffty.
Survivors include four brothers, Albert Suggs of Ozark, Billy Suggs of
Brownfield, Texas, Henry Lee Suggs of Schwartz, La., and J. R. Suggs of
Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mickie Ann Hency, 58, of Ozone died Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, at Johnson
Regional Medical Center.
A native of Clarksville, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Lee and
Kathleen Adair Warren, and was preceded in death by an infant son.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Hency; two daughters, Charlene
Knickerbocher of El Paso, Texas, and Corrinna Wallace of Indian Mound,
Tenn.; three sons, Tony Havener and wife, Carol, of Plainview, Brian
Hency of Clarksville, and Robert Allen Hency II of El Paso, Texas; two
sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and J. C. Wheeler of Clarksville and
Janice and Bob Wheeler of Ozone; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold
and Sue Warren of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren, Tona Havener and
Austin Hency, both of Clarksville, Darren Gillespie and Cheyenne
Havener, both of Plainview, Cheyenne Knickerbocher of El Paso, Texas,
and Lauren Wallace and Katlyn Wallace, both of Indian Mound, Tenn.; and
one great-grandchild, Seth Castillo-Havener of Clarksville.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel
with Rev. Mike Sawyer officiating. Burial was in Russell Cemetery at
Ozone.

Stokes, Donnie Kimbriel, and Danny Malloy.
Raymond Allen Bartlett Sr., 31, of London died Friday, July 29, 2005,
in Modesto, Calif.
He was a welder and was preceded in death by grandparents, Raymond
Albert Bartlett Sr., Ned Minor and Jim Moore.
Survivors include two daughters, Brittany Cheyenne Bartlett of Modesto,
Calif., and Alexis Nicole Bartlett of Coal Hill; one son, Raymond Allen
Bartlett Jr. of Monticello; parents, Allen and Charlotte Bartlett of
London; grandmothers, Imagene I. Bartlett of Calico Rock and Betty L.
Miner of Clarksville; one sister, Kristina Renee Armstrong of Beebe;
one brother, Daniel Ray Bartlett of London; and numerous, aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Charlie Boone officiating. Burial was in Carter
Cemetery.
