Edward (Kay) Stumbaugh, 97, of Paris, formerly of Clarksville, died
Thursday, July 29, 2004, at Paris Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was a native of Clarksville, son of the late George Francis and
Nancy Jane Cates Stumbaugh, 1927 graduate of Clarksville High School,
where he participated in football, brick mason for 60 years having
bricked homes in Johnson, Logan and Franklin counties, and was preceded
in death by his wife, Ruby Moore Stumbaugh.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Jim Clay of
Paris; three granddaughters and husbands, Angela and Billy Kindrick of
Dover, Teresa and Thomas Goates of Mountain Home, and Patti and Chris
Huber of Subiaco; six great-grandchildren, Katie Goates of Mountain
Home, Trevor Cooper and Andrea Kindrick of Dover, and Christa, Matti
and Clay Huber of Subiaco; and nephew and wife, Lavon and Eileen
Stumbaugh of Clarksville.
James Edward Holloway Jr., 70, of Alix, brother of Alice Jackson of
Coal Hill, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at his home.
He was a native of Alix, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James (Katherine
Witkay) Holloway Sr., Army veteran, Methodist and employee of Crouse
Construction.
Other survivors include his widow, Melba Masingale Holloway; one
daughter, Diane Harmon of Denning; one son, Michael Holloway of Alix;
four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, July 23, at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Phillip Pardue officiating. Burial was at Houston Cemetery at
Alix.

Hurst, Dale Pyron, Don Phillips, and Steve Ricketts.
Jerry Franklin Luningham, 61, of Russellville, son-in-law of Marvin
Tice of Clarksville, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004.
He was a son of the late Cleve and Ruby Cothren Luningham, native of
Russellville, member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, and retired
chicken farmer with Tyson for 39 years.
Other survivors include his widow, Marilyn Luningham; one son, Allen
Luningham of Russellville; one daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and
Duncan Harvill of Russellville; three brothers, Charles Luningham of
Atkins, and Bill Luningham and Gary Luningham, both of Russellvillle;
two sisters, Sherry Cossey of Hector and Bonnie Ketchum of
Russellville; and three grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2004, at Happy Valley Assembly
of God Church with Rev. Ray Cossey officiating.
Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral
Service of Atkins.

Stevie Duvall, Harold Luningham, and Chris Duvall.
Lois Myra Andrews, 81, of Ozone died July 30, 2004, at Johnson Regional
Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late John and Sally Stallings Byrne, nurse
for 40-plus years, member of Ozone Baptist Church, and was preceded in
death by two sisters, Anitabelle Boughten and Mary McLanson and one
brother, John Edward Byrne.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Andrews; one daughter and
son-in-law, Nancy and David McCracken of Moore, Okla.; one son and
daughter-in-law, Wayne and Reba Thompson of Dallas, Texas; five
grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, at Ozone Baptist Church with
Rev. David McCracken and Ben Herod officiating.
Burial was at Russell Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox
Funeral Home.
Mona M. Townsend, 66, of Redfield, daughter of Alma Morris of Hartman,
died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at Baptist Health.
She was a retired registered nurse, Baptist, and daughter of the late
J. H. Morris.
Other survivors include her husband, Jerry Townsend; two daughters,
Patti Shannon of Knoxville, Tenn., and Gerry Reed of Redfield; one son,
Tim Cooper of Pasadena, Texas; three sisters, Estaee Hook and June
Moore, both of Arizona, and Linda Easter of Pelsor; one brother, Paul
Morris of Jacksonville; and two grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, July 30, at Hartman Baptist Church with
Rev. Grady Glass officiating.
Burial was in Hartman Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox
Funeral Home.
Peggy Bernice Urtado, 49, of Clarksville died Wednesday, July 28, 2004,
at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of the Cornerstone Full Gospel Church, daughter of the
late Alfred and Bertha Johnson Bruton and was preceded in death by one
brother, Charles Alfred Bruton.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Urtado; one daughter and
son-in-law, Dorothy and Jerry Christian of Clarksville; and three
grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, July 30, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev.
Mike Payne officiating. Burial was in Lamar Cemetery.

Paul Duane Williams, 62, of Clarksville died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, at
his home.
He was a son of the late Paul and Pauline Daisy Davis Williams, Army
veteran with military honors, and retired Union Pacific Railroad
transportation employee.
Survivors include three daughters, Paula Williams and Kaci Williams,
both of Lamar, and Sherri Chronister of Clarksville; two sons, Lyndell
Williams and Travis Williams, both of Lamar; one sister, Patty Johnson
of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and
companion, Connie Jaegers of Lamar.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home
with Rev. Michael Thurman officiating. Burial will be in Lamar Cemetery.

Vola Jaggers Montgomery, 88, of Clarksville died Friday, July 30, 2004,
at Paris Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late Will and
Josephine Rogers Davis, member of the Clarksville Church of Christ,
retired beautician, and preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde
Jaggers.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Montgomery; two sons, LeRoy Jaggers
of Russell, Kan., and J. D. Jaggers of Buhler, Kan.; one sister, Sula
Garrett of Clarksville; six grandchildren, Jamie Jaggers of Dallas,
Texas, J. Mike Jaggers of Las Vegas, Nev., Jon Jaggers of Oklahoma
City, Okla., Donna Davis of Sallisaw, Okla., Debbie Park of
Clarksville, and Lisa Finch of Vinton, Iowa; ten great-grandchildren;
and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at the Clarksville Church
of Christ with David Coats and John Ballard officiating.
Burial will be in Hogan Cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke
Funeral Home.
